Katarina was born in Staaken on December 3rd, 1965. She's always seeking new opportunities and challenges. Through this process she's gained expertise in many different fields which include production, figure skating, performing, presentation and even writing. Katarina Witt's illustrious amateur career is now over following the 1988 World Championships. In the following three years, she headlines with Brian Boitano (World Champion, Calgary Olympic Champion) her first US and Canadian professional tours. The show has been so successful that Madison Square Garden, New York is sold out of a performance of figure skating for the first time in the last ten years. Her third Olympic Games appearance in Lillehammer took place in 1994. After touring across the US for the past ten years, she was guest stars on "Stars on Ice" as well as participating in international professional events. She has been the primary driver behind a variety of shows on ice around the world. She develops the shows as headlines and scripts and then produces the shows with her company WITT. It sets new standards in the skating production market producing live event shows such as "Divas on Ice", "Katarina & Friends", "Enjoy the Stars" as well as "Winter The Magic" for US as well as German TV.
