Anna Silk
Anna Silk, born January 31st 1974 in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada, is an actor most well-known for her role as Bo on the Showcase show Lost Girl. Silk is a Canadian actress born in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Ilkay Silk, and Peter Silk were the parents of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright and director and teaches drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna was a child and watched her mother at work and attending practice sessions for plays. Silk played a role as a young girl in commercials. The Bachelor in Arts was conferred from St. Thomas University, 1997. Her early theater experience includes at the very least two productions for Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto for further development of her acting profession in November 1999. Later, she spent the following decade relocated to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman met Silk at the Actors Workshop in Los Angeles, in 2007. In December 2009 they married following a civil ceremony. They were married in Fredericton on April 10th 2011, they renewed vows after her conversion to Judaism. Silk Cooperman's son was born in May of 2013, and her son was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman. Levi Aaron is her second child, and was born on 13th May, 2016. Silk is well-known for her tv role as Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009, she was awarded a nomination by her fellow actors for Gemini Awards. The Canadian show Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character from the succubus. Silk announced to the fans the joyous news that she had become pregnant during the filming of the final episode of season 3 during an exclusive pre-show to promote Season Three. This was presented by Showcase in the special Season Three show held January 6, 2013, prior to the series' premiere. Silk, who has been doing work on the show since the season's third finale episode was conceived on January 6, 2013, announced on Twitter her intention to return the 4th of June 2013 when Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production on the fourth. Silk's portrayal of Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as same-sex lovers in the show Lost Girl was named one of the all-time Top TV Couples by CNN (Cable News Network) and declared Top Television Couple of 2013. The same was done by E! Entertainment Television. As a result of the popularity of the show, Silk has garnered a prominent internet following via social media.
