Ariel Gail

Prof. Gail S. Goodman is Distinguished Professor of Psychology and Director of the Center for Public Policy Research at the University of California Davis. It is believed that she was the one responsible with establishing the current study of the memory of witnesses and also children's witnesses. Professor Goodman's publications are extensive, she has received numerous grants and is the recipient of many honors international and national levels. She has collaborated with numerous organisations and governments around the globe on research and policies relating to child victims of the legal system. She also serves as a consulting for the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center. (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She has memberships with numerous professional organizations, like the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association. Professor Goodman is part of Psychonomics Society, the Psychonomics Society Society for Research in Child Development American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children as a Founding Member and International Society for the prevention of child abuse and Neglect and the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She is the former President of the American Psychological Association Divisions for Policy for Children and Families and Practice Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Developmental Psychology.
